Where appropriate during the colon hydrotherapy session, Carey applies gentle Abdominal massage and uses specific Reflexology and acupressure points to help you feel relaxed, and assists with the elimination. She may recommend Herbal enema implants or coffee depending on the needs of the client and to enhance the detoxification process.
Through study, personal experience and working with a wide client base, Carey fully understands the fundamental importance of gut health which is central to overall health. She takes a functional medicine approach, by addressing the underlying causes of an individual’s symptoms. Kaori is an experienced colonic hydrotherapist and nutritional therapist with extensive knowledge of digestive and hormonal issues and food intolerances. She was trained at the UK college of Nutrition & Health (BCNH) in 2005 and has obtained a master’s degree in nutritional therapy from the University of Worcester in 2011.Kaori works with busy individuals, some of whom are over the age of 40 and struggle with low energy, lack of clarity, less than optimum health or difficulty reaching and maintaining their ideal weight. She supports them in achieving their health goals by implementing the Metabolic Balance programme, which is a personally tailored nutritional programme designed for optimising metabolism.
Additionally, she was trained under Dr. Milo Siewert and Roger Groos at the European School of Colon Hydrotherapy in 2006. She has in-depth knowledge and experience in using food, nutritional supplements and diagnostic laboratory testing to help restore the client’s optimum health and wellbeing. She understands that each client is different and requires a different approach to a colonic session as well as lifestyle and dietary changes. Depending upon the needs of the client, Kaori may also use herbal implants and coffee during the colonic session along with abdominal massage to enhance the effectiveness of the session.
